Jeon Ji-Hyun is a Korean pop star who turned into an actress and made 2 films to date. She made her starring debut in 1999 with Il Mare. However, it was 2001's My Sassy Girl that shot Jeon to stardom. The film was #1 for 6 straight weeks in Korea and Jeon's portrayal of the titular Sassy Girl is easily the best performance of the film. If she can act like this in a comedy, she can do pretty well in any kind of film. Jeon Ji-Hyun also won the Best Actress Award in the 2002 High Impact Awards for her role in My Sassy Girl. In 2003, she starred in a new film with Volcano High's Jang Hyuk.
